He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnny Wilton Jenkins and Myrtle Lee Joblin Jenkins; his wife Ann Tramel Jenkins; and his siblings, Rupert "Boots" Jenkins of Johnny Wilton, James Earl "Jamie" Jenkins, Billy Dean Jenkins, Leila Dunn, Helen Myers and Faye Armstrong. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
