He was predeceased by: his parents, George Giesbrecht and Marie Voth Giesbrecht. He is survived by: his wife Ormah Unruh; and his children, Marlene, Eldon Wedel, Lawrence, Beverly, Dana and Pamela. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and thirty-two great grandchildren; three sisters, three brothers, and a brother-in-law.
