She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles "Chick" Welch and Jeannette "Cookie" Vazquez; her stepmother Eve Roper; her brothers, Robert and Paul Stelljes; and her stepsister Kathleen Wolf.
She is survived by: her daughter Mallory Mowdy (Jared); her brothers, Sonny Welch and Johnny Stelljes; and her stepsisters, Sandra Cupit, Genette Ratcliff and Cindy Hawley. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and four grandsons.
In lieu of flowers, memories can be made to the Brookhaven Chapter of Alcoholic Anonymous in memory of her.
