She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde Cecil Thompson and Lucille Thompson (Couch); her brothers, James and Clyde Thompson Jr.; and her daughter Malinda Joy.
She is survived by: her husband Cecil Smith; and her sons, Jimmy and Jeff Smith. She is also survived by her 4 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
