It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Peggy Gillespie Wright of Booneville, Mississippi, born in Houston, Mississippi, who passed away on March 16, 2023, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Walter Gillespie and Mattie Lee Pennington; and her son Steven Gregg Wright. She is survived by: her husband Bro. Ervin Ray Wright of Booneville; her children, Laura Ann Wright Mize (Johnny) of Marco Island, FL and Michael Ray Wright (Susan) of Booneville; her siblings, Betty Hood (Rayburn) of Oxford, Mary Bailey (Paul) of Oxford, Anita Voyles (Billy) of Houston, Pattie Turner (Mallard) of West Point and Tony Gillespie of Houston; and her grandchildren, Jonathan Mize, Tyler Mize, Macy M. Usher, Macayla Wright, Reagan Wright, Samuel Wright, Christopher Wright and Hannah Wright. She is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
