He was predeceased by: his parents, George O. Sims and Edith H. Sims; and his brother-in-law Hoyt Wade. He is survived by: his wife Judy Sims; his siblings, Larry Sims (Freda) and Joan Wade (Brenda Stewart); his stepson Nic Beerbower (Annette); his children, Tessa Sims, Blake Sims (Courtney), Delaney Mask (Perry), Rachel Sims, Zack Sims (Gabby) and Lucas Sims; his grandchildren, Aires Sims, Alastar Sims, Anistyn Mask, Austin Rogers, Izabell Sims and Braxton Lee; his friend Judy Sims; and his granddaughter Aries. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
