It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Carmack of Booneville, Mississippi, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on July 22, 2023, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Russell Carmack and Suzanne Elaine Polensky Carmack; and his brothers, Rayburn Smith and Kenneth Smith. He is survived by: his daughters, Amy S. Brown (Chris Brown) of Booneville, Kimberly L. Grisham of Wheeler and Angel L. Carmack of Alabama; his siblings, Philip Carmack of Tuscumbia, AL, Glenice Willingham (Lee) of Tuscumbia, AL and Bridget Phillips of Tuscumbia, AL; and his grandchildren, James McDonald, Annabel McDonald, Isaac McDonald, Cassie Pitts, June Rain Taylor, Jackson Brown, Cera Elizabeth Grisham, Zachari Allen, Eden Grisham, Zachary Stidham and Bethany Lassetter.
