He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonce Comeaux and Annie Comeaux; his former wife Patsy; his children, Page Comeaux and Melvin Comeaux, Jr.; and his grandchildren, Sloane and Nicholas.
He is survived by: his wife Ollie Joyce Allen Comeaux; his sons, Steve Comeaux (Shirley) and Billy Comeaux (Cee Cee); his daughter-in-law Lori Comeaux; and his stepchildren, Phil Rhodus (Carol), Troy Rhodus and Pam Westbrook (David). He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
