He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Gordon Evans, Sr. (Tommie Davis Evans) and Delilah Ruth Evans (Patricia Nell Evans). He is survived by: his wife Janice Ruth Evans; his children, Jon T. Evans, Jr. (Jessica) and Margaret R. Wheeler (Robert); his siblings, Benny Watson Evans (Rita), Thomas Gordon Evans, Jr. and Linda Kaye Mashburn (Robert); his grandchildren, Amber Nicole Warden, Porsha Leigh Evans, Anthony Nathaniel Wheeler (Cameron), Robert Payton Wheeler and Tony Tyler Wheeler (Ashlynn); and his great grandchildren, Jace Anthony Warden and Wrenleigh Joyce Evans.
