He was predeceased by: his parents, McKinney Epps and Bessie Smith; his great-uncle Walter Smith; and his great-aunt Lucy Mae Smith. He is survived by: his wife Rosie L. Williams (Epps); and his children, Akiva C. Epps, Coprisha R. Epps, Kennedy A. Epps, Christian J. Epps Sr., Cooper L. Epps Jr., Sean K. Epps and Knite D. Epps. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and one great grandchild, host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
