He is survived by: his son Chris Mitchem (Christy); his stepson Brandon Murff; his daughter Cindy Mitchem; his siblings, Dale Mitchem, David Mitchem, Edith McQuillan, Barbara Lewis, Mary Gorbutt, Debbie Davis, Cathy Krausa and Sarah Mitchem; and his grandchild Cameron Mitchem.
