He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Reid and Sarah Louise Golden Owings; and his sister Barbara Virginia Owings. He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Owings; his sister Lisa Rhudy (Terry) of Picayune, MS; and his nieces and nephews, Karen Herndon (Daniel), Amy Mathis, Lesley Jenkins, Kevin Rhudy (Kriston) and Barry Mathis.
