He is survived by: his wife Shirley Nix; his daughters, Linda Kissel (Leslie) of Hamilton, Joyce McCaine of Greenwood Springs, Betty Murphy of Bartahatchie and Brenda Hamric (Leslie) of Guntown; his siblings-in-law, Jerry Reeves, Joanne Wright, Ann Reeves, Dorothy Reeves and Sandra Reeves; his grandchildren, Raina Cofer, Dustin Carter (Ashley), Sherry Morris (Steve), James McCaine (Taylor), John Murphy (Tiffany Sandlin), Collin Hamric, Victoria Johnson, Todd Murphy, Brian Murphy, Tasha Murphy and Trace; and his great grandchildren, Lillie, Corbin, Sophia, Sebastian, Hunter, Jennifer, Cali, Ryleigh, Jordan, Maverick, William, Adam, Thomas, Bradley and Walker.
