He was predeceased by: his parents, James Ray Kimbrough and Dorothy Easter Phipps; his stepparents, Wilma Kimbrough, Robert Petty and Larry Phipps; his brother Jerry Kimbrough; his parents-in-law, Clovis and Mable Miller Ford; and also Dorothy Easter Phipps.
He is survived by: his wife Sherry Kimbrough; his sons, Greg Kimbrough (Robyn) and Kevin Kimbrough; his grandchildren, Dalton Kimbrough (Lisa), Jake Kimbrough, Dallten Honeycutt and Lowery Taylor; his great grandchildren, Kinley and Bayleigh Kimbrough; his siblings, James H. Kimbrough (Delores), Jimmy Kimbrough (Edna Ann), David Brown (Fay) and Debra Frye (Max); and his siblings-in-law, Kay Austin (Larry) and Bo Ford (Kathy). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
