It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alice Ransom Blackwelder of Amory, Mississippi, who passed away on February 28, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Ransom and Helen Dorman Ransom; her husband Charles Blackwelder; her sister Yvonne Smith; her stepson Charles P. "Bom" Blackwelder; and her daughter-in-law Anita Blackwelder.
She is survived by: her children, Lori Miller (Robert) of Aberdeen, Jeff Spicer (Kim) of Duncan Hill, Chris Spicer (Emily) of Laurel, DE, Mike Spicer (Debbie) of Virginia Beach, Craig Spicer of Seaford, DE and Bobby Spicer of California; her brother Bill Ransom (Cheryl) of West Point, CA; and her grandchildren, Dusty Blackwelder (Devin), Corey Spicer (Jamie) and Chris Spicer. She is also survived by many great-grandchildren.
