It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jean Payne (Aberdeen, Mississippi), who passed away on January 16, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family in the guestbook on this memorial page of Jean Payne to show support.

She was predeceased by: her husband Beckwith Ashby Payne, Jr.; her parents, Lacey Herman and Arabella Armstrong Jackson; and her siblings, Overton, Duby, Johnny, Calvin, Joe Jackson and Deloris Jackson.

She is survived by: her daughter Pamela Edwards; her grandchildren, April Payne Hoar, Jasmine Payne, Jason Payne Jr. and Jacob Payne; her niece Heather Jinmaku-Brown (Charles); and her sister Dana Martin. She is also survived by daughter, two sons and their spouses, and four grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made in her memory to St. John's Episcopal Church, P.O. Box 54, Aberdeen, MS 39730.
