It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janie G. Darty (Aberdeen, Mississippi), who passed away on October 18, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Cliff Hanna and Lucille Milstead Hanna; her husband Kermit Darty; and her brother John Hanna. She is survived by: her children, Ray Darty (Julia) of Aberdeen, MS, Larry Darty of Aberdeen, MS, Wayne Darty (Danna) of Cumby, TX and Debra Young of West Point, MS; and her siblings, Carl Hanna (Janet) of Pontotoc, MS, Mary Sanders of Aberdeen, MS, Nita Ausborn of Becker, MS, Nell Lawson (Tommy) of Wren, MS and Wutzi Kendrick of Aberdeen, MS. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
