He was predeceased by: his parents, John Herbert Miller and Elease Davis Miller; his wife Betty Katherine Kilgore; and his granddaughter Miller Katherine Bynum. He is survived by: his daughters, Kim Dahlem (Howard) of Decatur, AL, Candy Ferguson (Randy) of West Point, MS, Katie Holliday (David) of Memphis, TN and Leigh Bynum (Gary) of Collierville, TN; his grandchildren, Will Dahlem (Jennifer), Anna Jackson (Matt), Abby Holliday, Ainsley Holliday and Maddie Bynum; his great grandchildren, Aiden Ferguson, Bailey Dahlem, Harper Jackson, Ben Dahlem, Miller Jackson and Culley Ferguson; his grandsons, Lane Ferguson, Lee Ferguson and Mitch Bynum; his grandson-in-law Matt Jackson; and also Steve Gaskin. He is also survived by his wife, children, and grandchildren.
