He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Winkle and Lydia Van Winkle (Steins); his former wife Effie Van Winkle (Sellers); his wife Flossie Van Winkle; his son-in-law Dennis Blunkall; and his brother Jim Van Winkle.
He is survived by: his children, Harold Van Winkle (Linda), Ricky Van Winkle (Annie) and Mary Blunkall; his siblings, Frankie Van Winkle (Diana) and Linda Lawson (Roy); his grandchildren, Jason, Rebecca, Jonathan, Robert, Alaina, Brittany and Nichole; and his great grandchildren, Kelsey, Kassidy, Sadie, William, Skyle, Kynlee and Koralina. He is also survived by five step-children.
