He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard William and Amanda Talbot Pierce, Sr.; his siblings, Jim, Samuel Pierce and Donna Wells; his children, Joe Sieve and Donna Layton; his children-in-law, Kraig Kurtz and Cynthia Sieve; and his grandson Neil Tiek.
He is survived by: his children, James Sieve (Maureen) of Steedman, MO, Raymond Sieve (Tina) of Wentzville, MO, Howard "Billy" Pierce III (Vickie) of Winfield and Julietta Kurtz of O'Fallon, MO; and his siblings, Tom Pierce (Donna) and Mary Ann Parris of Elmwood, IL. He is also survived by twenty grandchildren and thirty nine great-grandchildren.
