She was predeceased by: her parents, Eldridge Smith and Elfrieda Smith (Arnhold); her husband Gene Burkhardt; her brother Harold Smith; and her sons-in-law, Ron Degrendle and Mike Lee.
She is survived by: her children, Gail Degrendle of O'Fallon, Debbie Farley (Randy) of Old Monroe and Hope Lee of O'Fallon; her grandchildren, Billy Dwiggins (Heather) of Winfield and Brittany Mudd (Adam) of Old Monroe; and her great grandchildren, Blake Dwiggins, Case Mudd and Josie Mudd. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
