She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph G. Cox and Lucille Loretta Cox (Banks); her husband Edward McWhorter; her son Roger Eugene McWhorter; her son-in-law Christopher Puricelli; and her siblings, Lora Mae Parsons, Lillian Lavonia Davis, Ralph G. Cox, Jr., Marion Eugene "Shorty" Cox and Earl Webster Cox.
She is survived by: her son Phillip Edward; her daughter-in-law Cindy McWhorter of Springville, Utah; her daughter Karen Ann McWhorter Puricelli of Frontenac, Missouri; and her daughter-in-law Patty McWhorter of Lowry City, Missouri. She is also survived by sixteen grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
