He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul E. Dunbar and Berilla Dunbar (Wells) of Wellsville; his stepmother Wilhelmina "Minnie" Dunbar; his siblings, Robert, John Dunbar, Laverne McLean, Melba Tribble and Wilma Flowers; and his siblings-in-law, William Bridges, Dale Tribble, George McLean, Sheldon Flowers and Dorothy Dunbar.

He is survived by: his siblings, Paul W. Dunbar of Wellsville and Hilda Bridges of Troy, IL. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Hopewell Cemetery Association.
