With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charles L. Meador of Wellsville, Missouri, born in Mexico, Missouri, who passed away on April 10, 2022 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Meador and Ethel Meador (Foster); and his sister Paula Collet. He is survived by: his wife Rita Elizabeth Niekamp; his children, Donald Lewis Meador (Lee Ann) of Laddonia, Tammy Marie Meador (Gary) of Columbia and Teresa Ann Wortmann (Danny) of Wardsville; his siblings, Bobby Meador (Sarah) of Mexico, Glenn Meador of Jefferson City and Ellen Meador Dickerson of Middleburg, Florida; his grandchildren, Andrea Trierweiler (Kyle) of Columbia, Melissa Trierweiler (Matt) of Kansas City, Kansas, Zane Meador (Nicole), Ean Meador, Maggie Meador of Laddonia, Kristina Wortmann of Wardsville, Alexander Wortmann of Wardsville and Jared Wortmann of Wardsville; and his great grandchild Adalynn Meador. He is also survived by several brothers and sisters in law, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to American Legion Post 510 of Laddonia.
