It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Wortman of Wellsville, Missouri, who passed away on March 19, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Betty Wortman to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Patrick McKnight and Alma McKnight; her husband Lawrence Wortman; her granddaughter Joanna Lynn Spiers; her brother Pat McKnight; and her brother-in-law Harold Wehmeyer.
She is survived by: her daughter Mary Patricia Spiers; her son-in-law Wally Spiers of Belleville, Ill.; her grandchildren, Alexandra Kelley (Daniel Kelley) of Belleville, Ill. and Matthew Spiers (Rachel Spiers) of Wellsville; her great grandchildren, Zoey Farr of Wellsville, Isabella Kelley of Belleville and Lucas Farr of Wellsville; and her sisters-in-law, Doris Wehmeyer of Jefferson City, Alice Mayer (Richard Mayer) of Bentonville, Ark. and Peggy McKnight of Wellsville.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Trinity Lutheran Church Building Fund.
