He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Joseph Folta Sr. and Rena Blanche Folta (Craig); and his siblings, Rosalie Elizabeth Riefle, Dorothy Ann Johnson, Henry Thomas "Bud" Folta and Harold Edward "Hap" Folta.
He is survived by: his wife Irene Mae Marie Folta; his sons, Albert Joseph "Chub" Folta III of Wellsville, George Edward Folta (Thais) of Cresco and Ronald Dean Folta of Villa Ridge; his grandchildren, Tonya Coalwell of Columbia, Shawn Folta of Phoenix, Lucas Folta of Jonesburg, Hailey Folta of Villa Ridge, Dana Mills (Josh) of Stafford, Jenni Baltzelle (Chip) of Stafford and Morgan Folta of Newbury; and his sister Iva Jean Benskin of Wellsville. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren; one great-great granddaughter.
