He was predeceased by: his parents, Bion Ames and Betty Brickel Ames; and his brother Bion Ames, Jr.. He is survived by: his close friend Trish Duncan; his children, Mandy Duncan of Webb City, TyDan Ames of Webb City, Brandi Picolet of Olathe, Kansas and Brent Ames of Olathe, Kansas; his brother Chris Ames; his grandchildren, Octavia, Keira, Kajah, DuPree, Malique, Zhaiden, Imani, Olivia and Aliza; and his great grandchildren, Khorus and Roman.
