Verna Ruth Duncan Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Verna Ruth Duncan of Webb City, Missouri, born in Manchester, Tennessee, who passed away on September 22, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edgar Elrod and Valena Elrod (Bowker); and her siblings, Harold, John, Clyde, Daniel, Manuel, Jewel Wyant, Mary Williams, Exie Fletcher, June Elrod and Etoy McMahan.
She is survived by: her children, Darrell Duncan (Elaine), Cynthia Mahurin (Sammy) and Carla Marchbanks (Don); her brother Jerry Elrod (Sue); and her grandchildren, Aaron, Jeremy, Brandon Duncan, Ashley Brigance, Alicia Hall and Alana Ganer. She is also survived by 12 great grandchildren, as well as several nieces, nephews and friends.
In lieu of flowers, contributions are requested to The Solace House of the Ozarks and may be sent in care of the mortuary.
