He was predeceased by: his wife Gertrude Reeder; his daughter Leesa Hedgecorth; his granddaughters, Valarie Hedgecorth and Terri Macias; and his sisters, Joy Shepherd and Margaret Selsor.

He is survived by: his daughter Debra Joy Mahurin (Rick) of Webb City; his grandchildren, Vanessa Mahurin, Brenda Dalton, Leslee Mahurin and Glinda Smith; and his brother David Reeder (Patty) of Webb City. He is also survived by seventeen great grandchildren; fifteen great-great grandchildren.
