He was predeceased by: his siblings, Larry Hirshey and Joyce Hirshey. He is survived by: his spouse Kathrine Lorretta Swineford; and his children, Charles Dean Hirshey, Jr., Jason Eugene Hirshey and Deana Ashbaugh (Eric) of Ottawa, KS. He is also survived by five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
