She was predeceased by: her parents, Julius Kappelmann and Adolphine; her husband John Thater; her son Loren Thater; her siblings, Victor Kappelmann, Alfred Kappelmann and Rosemary Schaper; and her siblings-in-law, Betty Kappelmann and Lester Schaper.
She is survived by: her children, Dan Thater of Union and Sandra Wagner (Timothy) of Krakow; her grandchildren, Felicia Cope and Austin Wagner; her great grandchild Kylie Dunn; and her sister-in-law Gloria Kappelmann. She is also survived by other relatives, and friends.
