She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward and Scheper (Mildred); and her husband Art. She is survived by: her children, Allen Holtmeyer (Cheri) of St. Louis, Elaine Holtmeyer of St. Louis, Linda Weindel (Ed) of St. Charles, Tom Holtmeyer (Cindy Boehm), Sue Holtmeyer (Danny Unnerstall) and Greg Holtmeyer (Gina) of Washington; her grandchildren, Jenn Wilhelm (Eric), Adam Holtmeyer (Tessa), Scott Weindel (Britni), Catherine Weindel (Mike Camacho), Caitlin Niemeier (Chad), Hannah Holtmeyer and Spencer Holtmeyer; and her mothers-in-law, Josephine Devine (Bob), Bernadette Miesner (Lloyd) and Marita Straatmann (Maurice).
Memorial donations can be made to Bernadette's Purse for tuition assistance at Our Lady of Lourdes grade school, St. Francis Borgia High School, and Mercy Hospice, as all these organizations are significant for Ruth.
