He was predeceased by: his parents, Gustave Garbs and Bertha; and his siblings, Mary Holt, Eugene Garbs, Helen Kandlbinder, Ervin Garbs, Theon Garbs and Theresa Mohesky.
He is survived by: his wife Marita Garbs (Schulte); his siblings, Francis Garbs of Washington, Lillian Bockover of Washington, Gustave of Washington, Jenny Garbs of Washington and Bertha Becker of Washington; and his brothers-in-law, Donald Schulte of Washington and Donald Willming of Washington. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Memorials suggested to the Washington Fire Department, Washington Area Ambulance District, Promedica (formerly Heartland) Hospice, or a charity of the donor's choice.
