He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Gildehaus and Odelia Gildehaus; his brothers, Bernard and Virgil; and his siblings-in-law, Maribeth Gildehaus, Faris Hamlin and Larry Meyer.
He is survived by: his children, Jason Gildehaus (Sarah), Danny Gildehaus (Teri) and Jessica Gomes (Adriano); his grandsons, Brandon (Lucy Middleton), Aidan, Logan, Justin and Austin Gildehaus; his siblings, Charles (Gerry Gildehaus), Fred (Celeste Gildehaus), Gertrude Hamlin, Rosemary Meyer and Judy (Jim Derner); and also Kathy. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great and great-great nieces and nephews and many wonderful friends.
A Mass will be held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Francis Borgia Church (115 Cedar St, Washington, MO 63090).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the City of Washington Parks Department toward the purchase of a memorial bench (checks payable to CoW-Parks Dept.) or to the St. Francis Borgia Food Pantry.
