She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Pruessner and Frances; her husband Alvin Gerling; her siblings, Clara Jane Wolff, Robert Pruessner and Don Pruessner; and her sons-in-law, Wendell Schneider and Steve Balven.
She is survived by: her daughters, Judy Schneider of Washington and Nancy Balven of Washington; her grandchildren, Jennifer Kroeter (Matt), Matt Balven, John Balven, Kelly Schneider (Jon Genthe) and Clint Schneider (Keli); and her great grandchildren, Luke Kroeter, Ella Kroeter, Lydia Genthe, Alex Genthe, Lyla Schneider, Weslee Schneider, Jack Balven, Angel Balven and Hazel Balven. She is also survived by other relatives and many friends.
