He was predeceased by: his parents, George Washburn (Doris) and Doris Washburn; and his daughter Kendra Bradley. He is survived by: his wife Sally Washburn (Westbrock) of Washington; his sons, Scott Washburn (Shelley) of Houston, TX. and Grant Washburn (Therese) of Creve Coeur; his stepsons, Shawn Flick (Pam) of Lenexa, KS. and Tom Flick of St. Charles; his brother Greg Washburn (Sarah) of Carmel, CA; and his grandchildren, Kate Bradley, Grant Washburn Jr., Hope Washburn, Donovan Washburn, Skye Washburn, Charlie Flick, Matthew Flick, James Flick, Mariella Flick, David Flick, Catherine Flick, Bernie Flick, Andrew Flick and Caeli Flick. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
