He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Ripper and Margaret Ripper; his brother Vince Ripper; and his brother-in-law Allen J. Fine. He is survived by: his wife Linda Ripper (Reed) of Washington; his stepchildren, Kenneth Roesner Jr. of Washington, Rodney Roesner of Washington, Donna Dickerson of St. Louis, Rhonda Roesner of Washington and Tonya Roesner of Washington; his siblings, Dick Ripper of Florida, Susie Ripper of St. Louis and Judi Norvell; his sister-in-law Maryann Fine of Union; his stepgrandchildren, Brandon Baker (Kayla) of Bourbon, Trevor Hatfield of Washington, Luke Kasmann of Washington, Tyler Roesner of Union, Karissa Larsen (Daren) of Utah and Brittany Baker (Zach Lottman); and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Saria and Autumn.
