He was predeceased by: his son Rodney; and his sisters, Norma and Beverly. He is survived by: his children, Jeffrey, Christine, Cynthia, William Scott and Penny; his wife Jo Ann; and also, William Scott of Warsaw, MO, Christine Miller (Bryon), Cynthia Munden of Lincoln, NE and Penny Clark of Valparasio, NE. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, 2 step grandchildren, 4 step great grandchildren, 3 sister in-laws and 1 brother in-law and wife in Nebraska, many nieces and nephews.
