He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Edgar and Ruth Wing (Henderson); his wife Ruby Nadine Barlow; his siblings, Shirley Mayer, Jacquelyn Lee Wing and Robert E. Wing; and his stepfather William Crouch.
He is survived by: his daughter Connie Shearer (Lee) of Liberty, Missouri; his siblings, Richard "Dick" Wing of Waverly, Missouri, Ann Doss of Creighton and Ruth Ellen Worth of Dawn, Missouri; his grandchildren, Melissa Cowan (Wes) of Lee's Summit and Nicholas Shearer of Liberty, Missouri; and his great grandchildren, Joshua, Matt Cowan, Caitlyn, Callen and Jace Shearer.
