Loren Eugene Kenoyer Obituary

Mr. Loren Eugene "Lon" Kenoyer of Warrenton, MO passed away on Monday, December 12, 2022. He was born on August 13, 1941 in Athens, Il, to the late Elvin and Clemintine Kenoyer (nee: Hall). Lon had reached the age of 81 years.

Lon loved life and lived it to the fullest. He would always say "I'll sleep when I'm dead". Lon had a love for cars, music, dancing and traveling. He especially loved racing and restoring collector cars. Often, he would pull into his driveway and someone would have dropped off a vehicle. They would leave a note saying "Just send me the bill Lon". He also had quite the collection of boats, which included cabin cruisers and speed boats. Lon had a special love of music, especially Bluegrass and 50's Country. He loved to play along on the guitar and banjo. Lon was a cowboy who always made a presence in the room and could talk to anyone. He would say "Don't forget to wear your boots and dance". Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family. Lon will be missed by many friends and family.

Lon is preceded in death by his parents, Elvin and Clemintine Kenoyer. He is survived by his loving wife, Holly Kenoyer (nee: Andrews) and was the loving father of Lora Remlinger, Todd Kenoyer, Ruth Bailey and husband Rick, Chadwick Kenoyer, Robin Reed and Chris Reed. Lon also had several grandchildren. He was a dear and devoted husband, father, grandfather, uncle, cousin and friend to many.

A Memorial Visitation for Mr. Lon Kenoyer will be held from 11:00am - 1:00pm on Wednesday, December 21, 2022 with a 1:00pm Memorial Service to immediately follow at Martin Funeral Home, 510 E. Main St., Warrenton, MO 63383. Memorial donations may be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the Ronald McDonald House in honor of Lon.
