With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Linda Jean Gieson of Warrenton, Missouri, born in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, who passed away on September 1, 2023 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, William Balsmann and Edna Frizzell Balsmann; her husband William J. Gieson, Sr.; and her brother Daniel "Dan" Balsmann. She is survived by: her sister Kimberly "Kim" Kelley (Mike) of Cobden, Illinois; her sister-in-law Cynthia "Cindy" Balsmann of Cape Girardeau, Missouri; her nieces and nephews, Tyson Gieson (Genessa) of Warrenton, Shalin Gieson (Brandy) and Jesse Gieson (Jessica "Jessie") of Columbia, Missouri; and her grandchildren, Hope, Paige, Nathan, Brooklyn, Shepherd, Caleb and Dallas.
