He is survived by: his wife Carol Ballard; and his children, Pam Whitlock (Gary) of Mt. View, MO, Trisha Ballard of O'Fallon, MO, Melissa Hendrickson of Warrenton, MO, James Ballard, Jr. of Warrenton, MO, Mike Ballard of Delwood, MO and Virgil Bilbrey of Decatur, IL. He is also survived by 30 grandchildren; 45 great-grandchildren.
