He was predeceased by: his father Gilbert H., Sr.; and his brother William Jordan. He is survived by: his children, Matt Nordwald (Becky) and Angela Hunke; his grandchildren, Taylor Nordwald, Nathan Nordwald, Maddy Hunke and Jack Hunke; his brother Don Jordan (Wanda); and his pet Reggie.

Memorial donations are appreciated to Boys Town, MO, Paralyzed Veterans of America or Frieden's UCC in honor of Gilbert.
