With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruth L. Rodgers of Warrensburg, Missouri, born in Sarcoxie, Missouri, who passed away on March 21, 2023 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Benjamin Rice and Mary Sophia Burggraf Rice; her husband Elmer Eugene "Gene" Rodgers; her daughter Sharron Meyers; her grandson Jarad Arnold; her great grandchild Jacob Rodgers; and her siblings, Richard Rice, Edward Rice, Raymond Rice, Evert Rice, Essie Rice, Margaret Stockdale, Clara Cline and Opal Davis.
She is survived by: her children, Derryl Rodgers (Connie) of Carlsbad, CA, David Rodgers (Susan) and Douglas Rodgers (Debra) of Warrensburg, MO; her son-in-law David Meyers of Clarksville, MO; and her grandchildren, Jennifer Rodgers, Sara Piland, Brenda Heinen (Sean), Franklin Arnold (Dawn), Lori Burbridge (Steven), Heather Meyers (Corey), Darron Rodgers (Jessy), Dustin Rodgers (Casey), Scott Winkler, Mandy Payne (Mike), Ellen Carmack (James), Becky Rodgers and Cameron Hays. She is also survived by 25 great grandchildren, 12 great great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
