He was predeceased by: his parents, James Paul Crighton and Marguerite Elaine Crighton (Atkinson); his wife Roxy Born; his sister Elaine Chipman; and his daughter Debbie Lee Crighton.

He is survived by: his children, Paul Crighton (Lisa Drew) of Warrensburg and Angela Blevins of Warrensburg; his grandchildren, Brian Peckham, Stephanie Peckham, Brianna Younger, Serena Crighton, Sherri Morgan, Anthony Pauley, Gilbert Trujillo, Anne Crighton, Shante'Dasis and Charles Wood; and his great grandchildren, Zephyrus Dierkens, Elijah Stull, Alice Stull, Zady Morgan, Samuel Morgan, Avery Morgan, Wyatt Erb, Ozias Peckman and Jordan Peckman.

Memorial contributions are suggested to St. Jude's Children's Hospital in care of the funeral home.
