It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Nellie A. Grigsby of Warrensburg, Missouri, who passed away on June 19, 2023, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Herb H. Herman and Pearl Officer Herman; her husband John E. "Johnny" Grigsby; her daughter Sheila; her children-in-law, Dan Lunsford and Pat Grigsby; her grandson John E. Grigsby; and her great grandchild Geoffrey West.
She is survived by: her sons, Charles E. "Butch" Grigsby of St. Mary's and Gary L. Grigsby (Anita) of Warrensburg. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; thirty-three great-grandchildren; and fifteen great-great-grandchildren.
Anatomical donation has been made to the University of Missouri-Columbia School of Medicine. Memorials are suggested to the First Christian Church of Warrensburg Music Fund or the Show-Me Christian Youth Home.
