Sampson of Warrensburg, Missouri, born in Jefferson, Ohio, who passed away on March 6, 2023, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Sampson and Dora Sampson (Peck). He is survived by: his wife Esther Ruth Rieb; his children, LuRae Sampson Shreves (Phil) and Doug Sampson (Loretta); and his grandchildren, Darin Shreves, Katherine Shreves (Lewis Murray), Amanda Shreves (Adam McMichael) and Andrew Sampson. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cherished friends.
Memorial contributions may be shared with First Baptist Church in Higginsville, the John Knox Village East Nurses' Education Fund, or the Missouri Baptist Children's Home and left in care of Sweeney-Phillips & Holdren Funeral Home.
