She was predeceased by: her parents, John Peter and Alice Amy Whittenberg (Hawley); her husband Lawrence; her daughter Barbara Canaday Hills; and her siblings, William Whittenberg (Olive), Harvey Whittenberg, Milford Whittenberg (Helen), Ruth Williams (Kenneth) and Lettie Anderson (Kenneth).
She is survived by: her daughters, Linda Voris (Bob) of Walnut Grove and Mary Frances Snider (Jim) of Fair Grove; her son-in-law Cecil Hills of Hollister; and her sister-in-law Dorothy Whittenberg of Soldotna, Alaska. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 2 step grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; 4 step great grandchildren.
Due to current COVID-19 restrictions: Elsie will lie in state at Rose Hill Baptist Church, Willard, MO, Saturday, April 25, 2020 from 11:00AM-1:00PM.
