It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Lea Brockmiller of Union, Missouri, born in Saint Louis, Missouri, who passed away on August 6, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Walter Lipic; her husband Don Brockmiller; her mother Dolores Lipic; her daughter Kristy Davis; her grandsons, Ryan Davis and Jacob Brockmiller; and her brother Walter Lipic.
She is survived by: her mother-in-law Dolores; her children, Dane Brockmiller (Joanne), Neal Brockmiller, Gail Bryan and Cheryl Hulsey (Mike); her grandchildren, Nathan Strode (Alexis), Michelle Brockmiller, Julie Bell, Adam Brockmiller (Ann), Brian Hulsey (Beth) and Matt Hulsey (Jillian); and her great grandchildren, Justin Bryan, Taylor Miranda, David Bell, Dustin, Brayden Brockmiller, Alexis Femmer, Anna Strode, Tucker, Brooklyn, Tanner and Nolan Hulsey. She is also survived by other relatives and many friends.
Joan's body has been donated to Washington University School of Medicine. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation or Hope Ranch.
