It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harold Louis Schmidt in Union, Missouri, born in Chesterfield, Missouri, who passed away on August 14, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Schmidt (Emilie) and Emilie Schmidt; his wife Christine Schmidt; his brothers, Milton Schmidt and Clifford Schmidt; his siblings-in-law, Marilyn Schmidt, Arline Schmidt, Arlene Schmidt, Verlene Schmidt, Elaine Baumbach and Donald Baumbach; and his grandson James Curran.
He is survived by: his sons, Douglas Schmidt (Peg) of Union, David Schmidt of Union, Ken Schmidt (Susan) of Union, Paul Schmidt (Susan) of Montgomery, AL and Jon Schmidt (Kathy) of Union; his brothers, Virgil Schmidt of Grover, MO and James Schmidt of Grover, MO; and his sisters-in-law, Grace Devenport (Nelson) of Eureka, Lillian Edmiston (Dan) of Wildwood and Jane Edwards (Larry) of Fenton. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; eight great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to St. Paul Lutheran Church.
